      FILTRATION SYSTEMS

Safe bathing conditions are paramount and our filtration systems are specifically designed to suit each installation.

To ensure best water quality the hydraulics of a filtration system including pumps, pipe sizing, heat exchangers, and pool finishes are designed to suit the plant flow and to ensure quality treated water is delivered to all areas of the pool. Mechanical and electrical elements of the filtration system are all tested and certified at handover.

      POOL SHELL

All our pool shells are formed by either the traditional reinforced shuttered and poured concrete method or by reinforced sprayed concrete method.

Both applications are installed to current BS EN Standards. Sprayed concrete is an extremely versatile material that lends itself to many applications in the industry. The system has advantages similar to all other concrete structures, it is durable, resistant to disasters and has good thermal mass. It particularly lends itself to the installation of free form pools, with tight curves and flowing lines. However, the main benefit of using sprayed concrete is the speed of application. Traditional reinforced shutter and poured concrete is still the most favoured of installations in particular on bigger pools and when the pool is level deck. Yes, it’s is a longer process than spraying but the finish before render application is smooth and easier on the eye.

      TILES

A beautiful pool will take your breath away and although mosaic has been a traditional pool tile design for thousands of years, the sky is the limit now when it comes to creative design and blends of different colours, materials and finish.

The choice is huge, from porcelain, glass, stone and pebble or beautiful bespoke creations.  Whilst you want your pool to look its best it is important to adhere to the highest technical and safety standards and all our tiling works are carried out by our own experienced in-house tiling team.

      POOL HALL ENVIRONMENT

If you decide to opt for an indoor pool facility, then with our great British weather, the benefit of being indoors is that it can be used by all the family, throughout the year.

Maintaining a pool hall temperature which is always 1 degree above pool water temperature eliminates dampness & condensation on windows, fixtures and fittings.  In our installations we incorporate a market leading Heatstar system which controls both pool heating and pool hall heating & dehumidification in an all in one unit. These units are extremely reliable in controlling the temperature of your pool hall environment, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable pool experience.

      POOL COVER

If you wish to keep pool running costs to a minimum, then a pool cover is highly recommended.

We can tell you of 8 very good reasons why you should install a pool cover, but the choice is yours!

      1. Conserves water
      2. Cuts down energy cost
      3. Saves money
      4. Keeps out debris
      5. Less maintenance
      6. Helps retain heat in the pool
      7. Cuts down chemical usage
      8. Slows down evaporation

A pool cover is of course a personal decision, with many choices available for the finishes that float on top of the pool. However, if you decide that you don’t want to hide your pool with a cover, one thing to bear in mind is that a residential pool is typically used 20% of the time which means the pool could be covered for 80% of the time, thereby saving on the associated cost of having your own pool.
