Concept Pools Commercial Range of chemicals from one Carboy to pallets of Carboys for the higher demanding commercial pools
Sulphuric Acid is used to Lower the level of pH in a swimming pool to ideal ranges between 7.4-7.6 ppm, If the level of pH is lower than 7.2 ppm it is recommended that this is adjusted.
Stating an accurate dosing amount can often be difficult due to the different nature of water supplies around the UK. The correct level required for your pool will become evident after a few doses, but as a general guide, use 1.5 litres for every 10,000 gallons to reduce pH by 0.1.
1. Apply the Sulphuric Acid directly into Your pool Dosing Chemical Holding Tanks to be injected into pool via Dosing pumps system, or into pool side skimmers, alternatively pour into the surface withdraw channel around your pool.
Repeat application to achieve the total dose required. It is recommended that the total treatment is split into three equal applications with a minimum of 8 hours between them.
2. Following the application the pool water may become cloudy so keep the filtration pump running continuously until it clears.
3. After treatment check the Alkalinity pH & chlorine level of your pool and if necessary adjust.
